I had a frozen shoulder for about a year. I could not raise my arm beyond my waist. As a teacher, I could not write on the board, I could not put my seatbelt on, or reach for anything on a shelf. My physician recommended physical therapy 3x’s a week for three months. Three physical therapists worked tirelessly to try to “unfreeze“ my shoulder, but to no avail. Finally, I was told that surgery was my only option. I was very apprehensive about having surgery, when I remembered Dr. Riley, who had treated me years before, after a serious car accident. Dr. Riley was confident that he could get my shoulder moving again. Within a few months, my shoulder was totally back to normal. It’s been more than ten years now, and while statistics show that frozen shoulders often recur, I have never had a recurrence. I would highly recommend Dr. Riley, especially before opting for surgery.  

I started to come to Dr. Riley's office with persistent back and hip pain. His knowledge and patience enabled me to get relief from these problems. When problems do occur, he has made himself readily available to work with me. I thank him for his skill and caring.
